At Dellner Couplers, we are a leading global supplier of Train Connection Systems, and our mission is to make rail travel safer, more reliable, and environmentally friendly.

We’re looking for a skilled CAE Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Vika, Falun. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an innovative environment with exciting technical challenges and career development potential.

About the Role
As a CAE Specialist, you will play a key role in verifying the strength, durability, and crashworthiness of our products. You’ll work closely with development and design engineers, providing simulations and calculations that ensure our train connection systems meet high safety and quality standards.

Typical tasks include:

• Performing FEA simulations for static strength, fatigue, and crash analyses of couplers and related systems.
• Creating and troubleshooting non-linear explicit and implicit Finite Element models.
• Writing and communicating simulation reports to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to provide technical expertise and support.
• Analyzing and interpreting test results and reports from customers or suppliers.

If you have Matlab experience, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop and refine our energy simulation program, although this is not a requirement.

What We’re Looking For
We believe you have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with FEA tools, and experience with LS-Dyna or ANSA is an advantage.
• CAD knowledge, preferably with Inventor and Vault.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

To succeed in this role, you should be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. You are proactive with a solution-focused mindset, and customer-oriented with the ability to understand and meet their technical needs.

While Matlab and Python skills are not required, they are highly valued and can enhance your contributions, especially in areas such as simulation tool development and process automation.

Why Join Our CAE Team?
Our CAE team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of Dellner’s Train Connection Systems. We are a collaborative team driven by a culture of learning and accountability. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art strength and energy simulations, enabling Dellner to remain a global leader in the industry.

Here’s what we offer:

• A chance to work on cutting-edge simulations and technical challenges.
• Opportunities to collaborate across departments and with global teams.
• A workplace built on our values: Respect, Action, Joy, and Team.
• Career development in an industry-leading company.

Location
This role is based at our headquarters in Vika, Falun, offering a great balance between work and lifestyle in a beautiful part of Sweden.
